Our editorial method

We start with primary sources such as official announcements, patch notes, platform pages, and developer communications. Player reports can help identify an issue, but we label them as reports until they can be reproduced or supported.

Guides include dates or build context when an answer may change. We correct material errors and retire workarounds that no longer apply.

Game Field Notes is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers and publishers of the games we cover. Game names, marks, and official media belong to their respective owners. Official media is used only to identify and discuss the relevant game.
